Synapticats was founded in 2008 by industry veterans with more than 20 years of experience designing and developing high-quality commercial software. Our mission is to bring great iOS and Mac OS X software to the masses. Our engineers have worked with iOS since the original SDK was released, and we bring a decade of Cocoa experience to the table. Many years of experience have honed our estimating skills so we consistently deliver on time and on budget. And, boy do we love a challenge.
Our engineering and project leads each have at least a decade of consulting experience under their belts. We can take care of all your engineering needs or we can integrate with you team. Whatever works best for you. We are adept at creating rapid-turnaround iterations of existing designs and products. We take pride in our ability to partner with clients and turn their business needs and product vision into a reality. We understand the importance of planning, communication, organization, reliability, and just plain good manners. Happy clients are the best kind, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
Our engineers have experience with high level things like user interface design and core application design all the way down to the bare metal of mathematical, algorithm, and networking projects. They have done it all: stand-alone applications from simple utilities to full-blown page layout apps. We have experience with video capture, networking, interfacing with hardware (Bluetooth, USB, FireWire) and more.
Yes, we are legitimately geeky engineers that do actually write code in our spare time just because we think it’s fun. We are honestly passionate about math, because it is just plain awesome. We are psychologically driven to create the most elegant and clean solution to every problem. It’s kind of our thing. We work hard and we take pride in our quest for perfection. But, we are much more than that. We’re an easy going group of people that have lives, hobbies, friends and families outside of work. We are photographers, sculptors, pilots, travelers, parents, pet owners, foodies, gamers, Words With Friends addicts, and all sorts of other things too. Some of us are quiet, some of us are loud, most of us are quirky, all of us are nice.
Who doesn’t like space and robots? Nobody! NASA began drilling and analysis of Martian bedrock at the Gale Crater and tweeted some an image for all to see. There is a video simulation as well....
