Synapticats was founded in 2008 in Portland, Oregon, but that’s not when we got started. Our founders have 25 years of experience designing and developing high-quality commercial software. Our mission is to bring great iOS, Android and Mac OS X software to the masses, and our engineers have extensive experience with these platforms. Because of our in-depth experience, we consistently deliver on time and on budget. And, boy do we love a challenge.
We can take care of all your engineering needs or we can integrate with your team. Whatever works best for you. We are adept at both ground-up development and iterating on existing designs and products. We take pride in our ability to partner with clients and turn their business needs and product vision into a reality. We understand the importance of planning, communication, organization, reliability, and just plain good manners. Happy clients are the best kind, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
Our engineers have experience with the full range of development challenges. We have done it all: stand-alone applications from simple utilities to full-blown page layout software; hardware-centric software for video capture, networking, and Bluetooth; mobile solutions as simple as can be, and as complex as you can imagine. We have developed many high-profile iPhone and Android apps used by millions of people around the word: sports and fitness apps, travel apps, music apps, commerce apps, media apps, and more.
Yes, we are legitimately geeky engineers that do actually write code in our spare time just because we think it’s fun. We are honestly passionate about math, because it is just plain awesome. We are psychologically driven to create the most elegant and clean solution to every problem. It’s kind of our thing. We work hard and we take pride in our quest for perfection. But we are much more than that. We’re an easy-going group of people that have lives, hobbies, friends and families outside of work. We are photographers, sculptors, pilots, travelers, parents, pet owners, foodies, gamers, Words With Friends addicts, and all sorts of other things too. Some of us are quiet, some of us are loud, most of us are quirky, and all of us are nice.
